So this was at the Chipotle at 136 E. Main St., Newark, DE 19711.

My mom and I went to Chipotle last night to order food for the family. We walked in and immediately thought they were closing due to there being no lettuce, cheese, sour cream, corn salsa, etc. All of it was put away in the back, and all of the meat and beans were dried, crusty, and stuck to the bottom of the pan. There were two guys running around the store trying to close 4 hours early?

We asked them if they were closing, and they said they were 'pre-closing,' whatever that means, but it was 7:00 on a Friday night, and they're not supposed to close until 11:00. Not only did it take the guy 25 minutes to get two of our orders done because he had to keep going in the back to grab things, and that's if they weren't out of it altogether, but then they skipped our third order, and we had to go back in line because he just started helping other customers even though we had told him we needed something else. By the time we got back to order the third and final meal, we were told they didn't have any hard tacos left. I'm not sure if he was just being lazy and didn't feel like getting them or if they were really out of hard tacos, but they had the first three hard tacos that I asked for.

So by that point, we were just ready to leave, so we paid for the first two meals and got out of there. It was so disgusting, and the food that was out and visible for people to see was not appetizing at all! You see these commercials on TV, and they're nothing like how the actual restaurant is in person. They have nothing but kids working there, and in such a hurry to close that they literally start closing 4 hours before they're supposed to for absolutely no reason other than they want to go home and drink and party.

I live in a town where there's a lot of college students, so that would be my only guess. And college kids might be okay with eating crusty beans and dried-up steak that looks like it's been sitting there for a week, but normal customers would have just walked out as soon as they saw what was going on inside the store. Whoever the store manager was last night should be ashamed of himself, and the owners should never allow them to get away with this! You can tell that they let these employees run the show and do whatever they want to do.

It definitely left a bad taste in my and my mom's mouths to the point that if we ever do go back to any Chipotle, it definitely will not be the one near us! I used to love going to Chipotle years ago, and it seems like they've just gotten lazy because this is not the only store where I have seen dried meat sitting in the containers. These places are very bad at replacing the fresh stuff. If you do go to Chipotle, be cautious and make sure you ask for fresh food, and if they don't have any, just leave!

The only reliable food there is the chips and queso. Although the chips are hit or miss too sometimes because sometimes they are rubbery and greasy, so the queso is the only thing that is reliable.

I do love their queso! All of the employees need to be replaced.

My partner & I went to a Chipotle once. We strongly disliked the flavor/spices that were used & were unable to eat our meals.

We're both diabetic, so this was a problem, as we needed to eat. We requested a refund, so we could go buy food elsewhere. They refused, quite rudely, & the only thing they would give us were coupons. Since we didn't like the flavor profile, the coupons were worthless to us.

We literally gave them to a homeless woman as we were exiting the parking lot! Never going to a Chipotle again!!

That is what people who cannot afford to eat do, They order food, then eat the food and lie about the condition of the food for a refund, because they cannot afford to eat out. If the food were really that bad they would not eat there.

They just want a free meal. They need to got to their local church or a soup kitchen if they want free food because they cannot afford to eat out. Also, they need to be more patient. Also, they were probably out of hard tacos.

She is just ASSuming he is lazy to get them.

She is too lazy to cook and cannot afford to eat out so she need to lie to get a free meal. If the food were really bad she should have returned the tacos.

Totally agree. I mean if OP’s claims of out-of-stocks, service and food quality visuals are true, all occurred prior to paying. At Chipotle you can simply walk out and leave the food.

Chipotle was having a snow removal service pack snow up against our fence, they didand now we need to have it fixed with a new panel put in asap.

They use Door Dash, which absolutely sucks.

They deliver to my neighbor, which is a flop house, so they'll steal my food if I don't catch it before they see it.

For context, you have to hear this so you avoid Door Dash. It seems that a decent portion of there employees have sub-80 IQs. I'm at 751. My neighbor is 757.

In the area for the driver, I always write, "White wooden fence. Solar panels on roof." We are the only house with these attributes. Could I make this any simpler!?!?

I called Chipotle customer service, but I had to hang up. Their automated service asked me if it was a catering order about 20 times, completing ignoring my answer.

I had to hang up. I had to call the police because my neighbor wouldn't answer the door. I threw away the food, I mean come on. They weren't keeping it, though.

This entire chain of events traces back to Door Dash's very low eligibility threshold.

I'm pretty sure the only requirement for employment is that the applicant must be currently breathing. Just to add to the amazingly horrible track record of Door Dash. 3 years ago I was rear-ended by a guy who was delivering for Door Dash. He was looking down at his phone, and hit me at 50mph while I was stopped.

He didn't have insurance, so I had to pay the $500 deductible.

If you want Chipotle, go to a location in a nice area.

I'm boycotting Chipotle until they ban Door Dash or fix the problem. Too many nights have been ruined because they're main employee base are illegal immigrants who don't speak English, and apparently never learned to identify the numbers 0-9.

User's recommendation: Avoid Chipotle, and any other vendors who use Door Dash when ordering a food delivery.

Try to order with my bank card and lots of issues had to create another account to be served. A really stressful time and others were having same issues.

By the time I get the food it was awfully stale especially the rice. I always have pleasant in person experience but because of a ice storm here in Maryland I was stuck and disappointed.

I have been going to Chipotle since the franchise began. I love and appreciate all the fresh ingredients and the quality service as I order.

Today service was poor. The server gave less than normal portions on the tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and less than a full ladle of the new cilantro lime sauce, which has an added charge and is worth it when you get the full ladle. And I had to get a side of guacamole, which was an added charge. If I thought I could say something at the time, I would have, but the server was not exactly user-friendly.

So for the first time, I called customer service.

This is one of the few chains that has fresh ingredients. I will continue to go, but not at this store, which is close to where I live.

In the past month, I have attempted to go to the Moon Township (Coraopolis) Chipotle three times. Twice I was told to come back at noon because they were not open yet (a 10:15 opening time is printed on the door), and another time I was told that orders were online only because they did not have a cashier.

I was actually inside the store, but no one would take my order! I am 67 years old. I don't know how to order online. As far as I am concerned, Chipotle owes me gas money for three wasted trips.

I was there yesterday at 11 a.m. on March 25, along with many others.

Preferred solution: My time returned to me. I don't have a lot left. And maybe a meal when I come to this establishment. I don't expect a lot--just do your job.

First I called corporate and they were listened to my complaint. Then I called the Chipolte restaurant amd they were not taking any responsibility for what happened.

So I called the GM and she sIaid give me the photos and I will send them to the plow company. The manager at the store had no desire to help.at all.

She said.I.will take pictures later. So if my dog gets loose and ends up.on the hwy the plow company is reaponsible and Chipolte who hired a compqny thay cannot plow worth a ***

The manager said we can wait for the chicken to cook and the chicken wasnt even on the grill yet. As we were walking out to leave one of the male employees in front of the manager said yall can just go and my co worker turned around and said we were leaving you dont have to be rude.

It looks like you and your co-work found out that you are nothing to these people. You were offered a choice, leave (which you did tail tucked) or pay a few pennies more for something else.

One of these days, you will find out that workers out here are primed to go upside your head for next to nothing.

By the way, your little co-worker is weak. If he was about anything, he would have stood there and talked strong instead of slipping out with a Keisha.
