So this was at the Chipotle at ***. My mom and I went to *** last night to order food for the family.
We walked in and immediately thought they were closing due to there being no lettuce, cheese, sour cream, corn salsa, etc. All of it was put away in the back, and all of the meat and beans were dried, crusty, and stuck to the bottom of the pan. There were two guys running around the store trying to close 4 hours early? We asked them if they were closing, and they said they were 'pre-closing,' whatever that means, but it was 7:00 on a Friday night, and they're not supposed to close until 11:00.
Not only did it take the guy 25 minutes to get two of our orders done because he had to keep going in the back to grab things, and that's if they weren't out of it altogether, but then they skipped our third order, and we had to go back in line because he just started helping other customers even though we had told him we needed something else. By the time we got back to order the third and final meal, we were told they didn't have any hard tacos left. I'm not sure if he was just being lazy and didn't feel like getting them or if they were really out of hard tacos, but they had the first three hard tacos that I asked for. So by that point, we were just ready to leave, so we paid for the first two meals and got out of there.
It was so disgusting, and the food that was out and visible for people to see was not appetizing at all! You see these commercials on TV, and they're nothing like how the actual restaurant is in person. They have nothing but kids working there, and in such a hurry to close that they literally start closing 4 hours before they're supposed to for absolutely no reason other than they want to go home and drink and party. I live in a town where there's a lot of college students, so that would be my only guess.
And college kids might be okay with eating crusty beans and dried-up steak that looks like it's been sitting there for a week, but normal customers would have just walked out as soon as they saw what was going on inside the store. Whoever the store manager was last night should be ashamed of himself, and the owners should never allow them to get away with this! You can tell that they let these employees run the show and do whatever they want to do. It definitely left a bad taste in my and my mom's mouths to the point that if we ever do go back to any Chipotle, it definitely will not be the one near us!
I used to love going to *** years ago, and it seems like they've just gotten lazy because this is not the only store where I have seen dried meat sitting in the containers. These places are very bad at replacing the fresh stuff. If you do go to ***, be cautious and make sure you ask for fresh food, and if they don't have any, just leave! The only reliable food there is the chips and queso.
Although the chips are hit or miss too sometimes because sometimes they are rubbery and greasy, so the queso is the only thing that is reliable.
I do love their queso! All of the employees need to be replaced.

Hello, I was send an offer of BOGO in my email and when I tried to redeem it the offer wouldnt post on my account and I even asked the manager at one of your locations and was rudely told that they didnt care and it was not their problem. I have the final reminder email send to me on 05/28/26 noting I had 3 more days to redeem the offer so on 05/30/26 is when I attempted to redeem the offer. I can provide screenshot of the email if necessary.

User's recommendation: My issue was ignored, nobody called, emailed, or texted me about the situation even tho they did receive and read my emailed that I send them and just like the rude, disrespectful, dismissive and unhelpful staff/management team at the ***, *** location as well as their useless automated system on the chipotle app the customer service team which btw was intentionally difficult to reach in my opinion could not care less so if you ask me don’t waste your time with chipotle but more importantly do not download their app because beside selling your personal info you’re not going to gain any benefits downloading and signing up for their app
Hateful store manager charged me double just forgetting my toppings on the side

Since I wasn't able to eat my order at that time and had an hour drive home, I asked before my burrito bowl was ever prepared if it was okay to get the toppings in a side dish container, and the young man said absolutely, it's no problem.
After my order was completed, the female manager ran over to the cash register and instructed the young lady to charge me for six sides, which came to a total of $8.07. I've tried to get a refund, I've tried to report the incident, and I tried to reach out to customer service with no resolution. The toppings that come with the burritos and the burrito bowls are free.
Even if I was charged for the little container that the sides were put in, it still should not have equaled the amount of a whole other burrito bowl. That manager had nothing but pure hate, spitefulness, and abuse of power in her heart.

Was very unsatisfied with my order I got when traveling back home from *** last week! I thought I requested an issue ticket but never received an email about my issue.
The rice was not cooked all the way and was hard. I used my points for a free entree and I couldn't even eat it and I was already driving back on the road before taking my first bite and was not gonna turn around.

I almost chocked on a large piece of serving spoon last week. You would think once it was noticed the spoon had broke that the bucket of food would be disposed of ! I can't imagine if this would've happened to a child or elderly person.

Went to Chipotle, ordered half chicken, half steak. This was my lunch.
Work evening started. My shift about 3 hours in, I went to start eating. The steak was so tough. Called the store, got voice answering, kept food.
Called the next day. The manager was very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. She called me out of my name and hung up on me. When she asked if I had a receipt, I replied that I got the food though.
You could have bought it anywhere. I took it to the store trying to get the store number and the manager's name because this is unacceptable as a manager. I gave her the food when I went into the store. She hid in the back of the store.
You people are going to be sued with people so unprofessional.
Stay tuned, not done yet. I promise!

Fence down between my property and Chipotle from them plowing snow up against the fence .
- I lost contact with someone.
- The fence was damaged by Chipotle's snowplow.
- There is a temporary repair and a permanent fix is desired.
A few months ago I was in contact with someone but unfortunately I lost their contact Information. My fence was damaged when the company that plows for Chipotle pushed a ton of snow up against my fence over the winter causing it to cave in.
We have a temporary repair on it but we would like to have it fixed permanently.

During my online order the app did an update. Without my knowledge the location was changed to one I had not used in about 2 years.
I live in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], the order went to [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]. I was forced to get food for my children from a different place while trying to resolve this issue because I could not get pepper to work and there was no answer till the next day. Then I was told I would not be getting a refund because I did not put in a new order at the correct location.
We'll, by the next day I was no longer in a town that had a Chipotle!! This was 100% a scam and they stole $70 from my children!!

My partner & I went to a Chipotle once. We strongly disliked the flavor/spices that were used & were unable to eat our meals.
We're both diabetic, so this was a problem, as we needed to eat. We requested a refund, so we could go buy food elsewhere. They refused, quite rudely, & the only thing they would give us were coupons. Since we didn't like the flavor profile, the coupons were worthless to us.
We literally gave them to a homeless woman as we were exiting the parking lot! Never going to a Chipotle again!!
So the food that you saw BEFORE ordering did not look appetizing but you ordered anyway?
That is what people who cannot afford to eat do, They order food, then eat the food and lie about the condition of the food for a refund, because they cannot afford to eat out. If the food were really that bad they would not eat there.
They just want a free meal. They need to got to their local church or a soup kitchen if they want free food because they cannot afford to eat out. Also, they need to be more patient. Also, they were probably out of hard tacos.

Totally agree. I mean if OP’s claims of out-of-stocks, service and food quality visuals are true, all occurred prior to paying. At Chipotle you can simply walk out and leave the food.
